Overview

Local Shop Monitor Collector is a Chrome extension for private ecommerce shop monitoring. The extension works only on supported merchant backend pages that the user has already opened and can access in their own browser profile.

Data the Extension Processes

The extension may read shop operation metrics and page information from supported Taobao/Tmall, Alimama, Pinduoduo, and JD merchant backend pages. This may include shop scores, transaction or order summaries, advertising metrics, task counts, page status, page URL, page title, and diagnostic samples needed to determine whether collection succeeded.

How Data Is Used

The data is used only to show the user's private Local Shop Monitor Dashboard, run local diagnostics, display collection status, and support scheduled or manual collection initiated by the user or the local dashboard.

Where Data Is Sent

The extension sends collected information only to the Local Shop Monitor service running on the user's own computer, usually at localhost or 127.0.0.1. The developer does not operate a cloud collection service for this extension and does not receive, sell, share, or transfer the collected shop data.

Data Not Collected

The extension does not collect passwords, authentication tokens, personal communications, health information, precise location, keystrokes, or browsing history outside the supported merchant backend pages and the local dashboard.

Local Storage

The extension may store local settings in Chrome extension storage, such as the Local Shop Monitor service URL, profile label, polling interval, and extension configuration. Users can remove these settings by clearing extension storage or uninstalling the extension.
